Opening Christmas Presents

Jeremy, Damon and Nyah

Every year we take turns spending holidays with our families. This year we are with the Lund side for Thanksgiving and we will be with the Putman side for Christmas. We usually have Thanksgiving and then have a Christmas time. This year we were unable to spend the holiday with Scott and Angela. We opened there presents to us and they opened ours to them at the hospital.
Jeremy put a diaper on Nyah. He called her "Diaper Girl."

A Different Thanksgiving

Nyah's first Thanksgiving was a little bit different. We spent the day driving 2 hours from Klamath Falls to Medford, Oregon. We then spent 5 hours at the hospital. We got to see baby Grace, eat chicken on the floor, play in the family room and see Scott and Nanny. It was great to be together as a family. That is what Thanksgiving is all about.

Baby Grace

Eric's little sister, Angela, gave birth to a baby girl at 30 weeks. Angela had preclampsia (SP) and her life was in danger. They had to transport her to the Medford hospital and induce the baby. The baby was born at 2 1/2 pounds. She is doing well, but will have to be in the hospital for a couple of months.
She was in an incubator when we went to visit.

Traveling to Oregon

The girls did great going to Oregon. The baby DVD player was a gift from God. The girls watched movies most of the way. For some reason they love "High School Musical". By the end of the week I was singing the songs in my dreams. I am ready to "accidentally" break the DVD. :)
Future Mary for Christmas plays.

Ice Cream!

Cute as a Bug's Ear!

The girls are becoming great friends. They play together, fight together and get into trouble together. Nyah likes to try and immediate Emma. Emma is talking in full sentences and Nyah still can hardly say very many words. It is cute when she tries. Her tongue sticks out and curls as she talks.
Emma had a sty in her eye. Her dad talked her into putting a warm cloth on her eye. she of course wanted to lay on the couch with a blanket, a movie and sunglasses. Of course those are all the items I would have wanted if I had a sty.

Packing for Thanksgiving Travel

The girls decided that they wanted to help
us pack for our long journey. We went to Southern Oregon for our Thanksgiving break. It is a 10 to 12 hour drive depending on who is driving and who is in the car.:)

I would have liked to fit a few of the orphans in the suite case like these two little munchkins are.

How cute is this!

The kids were wheeling the girls around. When they stopped they were very sad when they stopped.

The Girls are Doing Great!

Emma and Nyah are doing great. They get along well and are a joy to be with. They both are in their terrible 2's. If they arn't crying they are giggling. They love to dance and play with dolls. Nyah is very easy going and fun.
Nyah loves bath time. She loves the water. I would be thrilled if I could get her to stop drinking her bath water.:)
