Happy Gotchya Day!

Nyah is a beautiful little girl who is sweet, stubborn, funny and so much fun to be with. I can't believe it has been 2 years. We have had her longer than anyone else. That, in my mind, makes her completely ours. For some reason it is a mile marker for me. I love this little girl and thank God everyday for blessing us and letting us be her parents and family. 4th of July Pass Picnic!

Ok... the girls were playing Tee Party after we went to the 4th of July pass for a picnic. Had to add the picture.

Eric and I took the girls for a picnic. In truth, Eric took us for a "picnic" that really was a scouting mission. He tricked us. I have learned to expect this. ;)

Junior Honor Society

Jordan is a brilliant girl! She has been a part of this school program for 2 years. They do volunteer work and tutor kids. They are a club for the middle school. What really stinks is that she is entering high school. ;( Painful for the mom.

Hoopfest!

We went to the Spokane Hoopfest to watch Zac play basket ball. The girls were so cute, we forgot to take pictures of Zac! LOL

Surgery---Take 3

Jeremy will be having his 3rd knee surgery on July 9th. His most recent ACL repair did not take. This means that we will have to use a cadaver graph to fix his knee. Unfortunately, this means that he will have to start over with the 9 month recovery time. Please keep him in your prayers. This is very hard and discouraging for him.

So, we are bad parents. We didn't need to worry about our older kid's teeth until they were much older. Apparently, Chinese kids, from China, tend to have bad teeth due to the environment in orphanages, formula and sharing of bottles. This has proven true with our girls. Both have serious cavities and will be getting medicated next week to fix their teeth. They will then have to go every 2 months for teeth strengthening stuff, to be put on their teeth. Wish we had taken them right away when we adopted them. Could have prevented some of the trauma.
