Jeremy and Adam Driving! Frightening!

Jeremy and Adam are driving. This is a fearful thing to us. Pray for them and their safety. :)
Jeremy on the left, Adam on the right.
A couple of weeks ago the boys were driving. Adam with Melissa in their car and Jeremy with me in our car. They decided to race. Of course they didn't put a whole lot of effort into it because their moms would FREAK OUT!
The funny thing is that they were both driving
mini-vans. That is equivalent to the 80's and station wagons. They should be so proud. :)
White car is Jeremy, blue is Adam

Jeremy's Basketball

As you know, Jeremy had a complete ACL tear and torn meniscus last year from a football accident. Since then he has had surgery and was unable to play sports at all for a year. This year he played football and tried out for the basketball team. He knew that it would be hard to make it because he was not 100% heeled yet. So when he didn't make the team due to this, he decided to play rec. league. This has helped him to get back his skills at a slower pace and loose his hesitation due to his knee.
Jeremy really is a great player. It is so fun to watch him. He is a wild man. By the way, he is almost 6 ft. tall. The orthopedic doctor thinks he will be 6.2 to 6.4. We have no idea where this comes from. Must be from the mail-man. Don't tell Eric though. :)

Also, Jeremy broke his thumb in football this year. He also has tendinitis and some other "itis" in his foot. All are on the right side. Of course he still played ball. Eric thinks that we need AFLAC (Sp?) for this kid. What do you think??

Every game we took the girls with us. Here they are with Grandma Bobbi. They took turns mauling us. This game Grandma got to be mauled. The girls are potty training so we have to take them 3 million times a game. By the end of the game I feel like crying just from them crawling all over me and taking them to the bathroom. CRAZY!

Jeremy is Driving!!!

If ever I thought I was still young, those days are gone. Eric and I now have a 15 year driver. He now has his "day-time" drivers license. He is so excited about it. He is actually a very good driver and very responsible. (Knock on Wood!)

Mommy! You Gots To Stop!

Emma has become our 2-year old backseat driver. She can see out the front window in the van. This helps her see the lights. She now tells us that "It's gween Mommy. You can go."
When Emma See's a red light she sais, "Mommy the light is wed (red), you gots to stop!"
A few weeks ago I ran a yellow light because of ice. Emma pipes up from the back, "Mommy! Did you not see the wed light? Your supposed to stop!"
At that point I turned around and looked at her. I thought, "Are you kidding? I thought you were two???"
This is exactly what Emma's face looks like when she is telling us how we should drive.

Yips!

Emma
The girls love to put on lip gloss every time we get into the car. They say "I want yips!"
The crazy thing is that they think they need to put it on their lips, under their nose and on their nose. Nobody really knows why. This is just the way it is supposed to be.
Nyah is showing you how it should be done. I haven't tried it yet but maybe that would be a good idea.
Nyah also thinks that she should not open her lips when she is done putting on the lip gloss. So she won't talk once it's on. She just keeps her lips closed. It is like a glue to her I guess. I can think of a few people who could use this "yips." Then their lips would be glued shut. :)

Emma

Emma is an incredibly smart child. She was upset the night before this picture. She had left her blanket at Grandma Bobbi's house. She climbed up on the stool and called Mee-yissa (her day care provider, Melissa) and said " I left my blanket. I need to come get it." Not sure why Melissa would have it. By the way, this phone does not work. We use cell phones only now. She was not prompted or reminded about the blanket. She just knew what she needed to do. :)

After she was done talking on the phone to "no body". We told her to get down. She said, "I need help. It is too dangerous." We are soooo in trouble with this one.

Nyah decided to take the clothes off of Emma's stuffed bunny and put them on herself. Little tight! :)
