Mother's Day!

Mother's Day was a nice day of family, Church and gifts. Jeremy wrapped up cleaning stuff from our shelves. Soooo thoughtful. He better not do that to his future wife. She just might deck him. :)
Here I am with my brood. They gave me a basket of girly stuff that I will get to use on a day to myself. I am planning to spend an entire day without ANYONE. I am going to go to my parents when they are out of town. I will take a bath, read a book, watch girl movies... all day. BY MY SELF! I can't wait. It will be later in June but so worth the wait. Eric was sweet. He bought me candles, coffee, mints, movies, cookies a sweet card. He is the best.

Nyah's Dedication
Nyah was dedicated on Mother's Day. We went to the late service so that more family could be there. That did not work so well. She was VERY grumpy and cried most of the time. She kept saying, "I want my Sissy. I want my blanky." In the end we were glad it was over. We are thankful that God saw her and probably laughed. I am sure that the dedication took despite her attitude about being dedicated to God. :)

Jeremy and Travis' School Project

Jeremy and a neighbor friend worked on a Trojan horse together for a school project. They spent at least 18 hours on this thing. I learned that Jeremy is very particular about how he wants things. Everything has to be in a straight line and perfect. For this reason it took the guys FOREVER to get the project done. Travis is not as particular as Jeremy. It was humorous to watch. I am amazed that Jeremy is this particular. He gets that from his dad, NOT ME! Too bad he doesn't have the same quality when it comes to his room. :(

My Little "Ouch" Girl

Nyah seems to think that if anyone else happens to say that they have something that hurts, she must have something that hurts.
Nyah decided that her head hurt and set her self up on a little sick bed. She then said "owee, Mommy," and looked pitiful. We just say "oh, sorry" and and tell her she is fine. We are hoping this faze ends soon. :)

Bobsy Twins

The girls helping mom make muffins.
They wore matching clothes and hair styles. We rarely do this but they love it. :)

Visit From Grandpa Michael

Visit from Eric's Dad. He came to visit for a couple of days. We had a great day.
Gifts from Grandma Glenda from Hawaii. Thank you Glenda. We loved them!!!

Gifts!
Grandpa Michael and all the kids.

Watching Cartoons
Grandpa trying to read the Bible to the girls. It was quite humerus. He tried so hard to keep the girls attention. They literally climbed all over him and us. Not quite the Bible time that Michael thought he was getting into. :)

Hold on to your Babies!

Following the funeral of Elizabeth I was in need of my little girls giving me hugs. I want to cherish each moment I have with all my children. God gives us life. There are no guarantees that we will be here long enough to grow up. I am thankful for the opportunity to raise these little girls. I am thankful for every day I get to hold them. Each day is a gift. We are the lucky ones.

Thank you God for all of your gifts. Thank you for my husband and children. Thank you for the gift of adoption. We will do our best to honor you by caring for your little children.
