Emma turns 3 today. It is so hard to believe how much she has changed since we got her. We have now had her almost 2 years. She is a fun, energetic little thing. She is dramatic, emotional, laughs easily and is such a great child. We are so blessed to have her. Happy Birthday Emma!

She was so excited to open her presents.

Nyah thought it was fun until she realized that she didn't get any presents. :(

Emma got a card and money from her Lund grandparents. Thank you! She will love spending the money. She thinks she is such a big girl when she can do that. :)

Eric. Can you say dork???

Emma got a guitar that plays all kinds of music, has 6 music songs and more.

Nyah wanted a turn.

Emma got a Dora bike. We get to get a prosthetic hand cup for her next week. It will have a piece put on the handle so that her hand can slip into a cup of sorts to make it so that she can ride. Thank you Shriners!!!

Emma would play the guitar and bob her head back and forth.

Emma got a blow up Dora bed and a map. She has been insisting that she needs a map so that she can find where ever she needs to go. She is becoming Daddy's little girl. Lets hope that she can figure out how long a drive is on a map better then her daddy. :)

Nyah started melting down about half way into the presents. Emma did a great job sharing but Nyah still did not understand. Having 2 -2 year old's has taught us to get two of everything. BUT... we still need Nyah to learn that birthdays are special. Her birthday is only 3 months away. She will survive.

Jordan decided to take a turn on Emma's new bike. Nyah is helping her along.

Jordan also wanted a turn in Emma's Dora bed.

Daddy and Nyah taking a turn at "pin the tail on the donkey."

Nyah's turn on the bike.

Emma's candle.
McDonald's!

After dinner and the party at home we took Emma to McDonalds for ice cream.
Play Area

Nyah was just figuring out how to climb all of the little shelves to get to the slide. Her little legs made it difficult.

Mom sat in the middle of the shelves and waited for Nyah to come through. She had to help Nyah get up and then she ran off and slid down the slide by herself. It was a good thing too. Have you seen how small the tunnels are??? Not made for adults!

Emma was a maniac. She was so fast running around the play area. She did not need any help.
OK... This may be totally stupid, but I am going to say it anyway. We are trying very hard to be good with money. (Not my strong suit). So we decided to see if we could find good gifts at garage sales for the girls. Corny I know but it was worth a try.
We found the:
Bike for $15.00 (In great shape.)
Dora Bed $3.00 (Never been opened with a price tag of 29.99 still on it).
Gabriella Barby Doll that sings $.50 (Barely used).
Guitar $3.00 (Barely Used).
Shoveling Tool $1.00 (Walmart)
Cake $21 (Walmart)
Game -hat-Blowers- $2.00 (Dollar Store).
Grand Total for birthday was:
Gifts $22.50
Party $23.00
McDonalds $8.00
Total: $53.50
Ok... have I lost it to think that this is a big deal????
Great party for Emma- Great for us!
Ok... I know I've lost it. You don't need to tell me. I was just excited. :)
