Nurse Emma and Nurse Nyah

Emma and Nyah are in underwear because they were hot. I am having trouble keeping them in clothes. They keep wanting to take off their clothes. I keep hearing my self say, "We don't eat food at the dinner table without clothes. We don't go outside in our underwear." Never thought those words would come out of my mouth. :/
Emma and Nyah decided that Eric was wounded. They made him lay down on the floor and covered him with blankets. They kept saying that he needed "Do-ya" (Dora) band aides. If you notice in this picture, Nyah's bunny is also injured and is laying next to Eric.

Eric, bunny and baby are the patients.

Escapades from my Chinese Wonders!

I decided that I need to start writing down all the escapades that my girls get into.
This one is about Emma.
We were headed to swimming lessons last week. When we drove into Joy's drive way, their dog started barking.
Emma speaks up from the back seat saying, "Mommy we can't eat that dog." (Like we normally would? ). I asked her why, wondering what she would say. She says, "...because he is a nice doggy. We can't eat him." At this point Jordan and I are cracking up. Jordan asks her if the dog was mean, could we eat it then? Emma sadly shakes her head and tells us, "No. We can't eat that dog."

Strange thing to say. No we do not normally eat or threaten to eat dogs. Not sure where that came from. Maybe she remembers eating dog in China. :)

Gotch Ya Day! July 15th

Emma's Gotch Ya Day 2007

Emma came to us in a red outfit holding a green apple. The ladies working in the room gave Emma the apple to comfort her because she was crying. I make Emma wear red and hold a green apple on Gotch Ya days. Jordan thinks that I am psychotic in making Emma do this. She says that Emma will think I am crazy when she is an older lady wearing a red dress and holding an apple for pictures. I still will make her do it though. :)
Emma's 1st Year Gotch Ya Day Celebration 2008

We don't do any major things for Gotch Ya day since Emma's birthday is so close. We just torture her in her red outfit and take pictures and go out to ice cream as a family.

Melissa (Our Day Care Provider)

Melissa is the best babysitter in the world.
She loves the girls and treats them like
they are hers. I could never have asked for a
better person. THANK YOU MELISSA!

The Cameron's Gave Emma a Birthday Party!

Nyah freaked out when they started to sing happy birthday to Emma. By now she is sick of Emma getting all of the attention. :)

Sorry the pictures are a little out of order. I was having a little bit of trouble.
Melissa gave Emma a birthday party. They called asked to have Emma and Nyah for part of a day. That worked great for me and the girls were excited too. :) They played at their house and went to lunch at the local school. They made Emma some cupcakes and had a little party for her. Thank you Cameron Family! You are the best!

My Little Angels

My little angels did not do so well while we were camping. Jeremy drove-Jordan, Emma and Nyah to Sandpoint to stay the night with my sister Melissa. The girls did horrible. Jordan and Melissa tried to lay the girls down in the same room, separate rooms, laid in bed with them from 8p.m. to 11:30/12:00. They woke up again at 2 a.m. and were up until 4 a.m. back to bed and awake at 5:30. They trashed Riley's room (while Jeremy slept on the bed - in the same room). Jordan heard them playing in the room and checked in on them. They had taken a tissue box and took out the 360 tissues and spread them out all over the room. They removed all the books and wrote on the wall with high lighters.
They finally went back to sleep around 6 and woke up at 9. Did not take a nap and fell asleep in the car coming home.

When the kids drove in to the driveway, I went out to help bring the girls in. Both Jeremy and Jordan informed me that "WE WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!" Jeremy had a bit of a fender bender on the way home as well.

SOOOOO... that said, we will not be getting away again anytime soon. :(

Week End Break!

Eric and I left the kids with my sister and went camping. Eric gets stir crazy with the long winters and colder weather. We went up to Big Creek and had a good time. I must love him A LOT to go camping.

This was a trip that I planned on the way to a meeting. Soooo I did not have time to pack. I forgot my shoes and I had on my flip flops. Not camping attire. So, I had to borrow Eric's shoes. They were very big and I had to be careful how I walked. Not a good plan for hiking.

We went up to Elsie Lake via trails up in the mountains. It was beautiful. At the top was a bench with an autograph book inside a plastic container. There was a flag at the top as well. Very fun.
